What Participants Are Saying...
Kelly E.
"I saw my own pain reflected in the eyes of the community and I deeply needed that to restore a bit of faith in humanity. I felt how I could sit in community with others of opposing views and still share our humanity without fear. But mostly I realized how low I have allowed my self worth to drop. I will be incorporating a self compassion practice into my routines too."
Sam B.
"Very grateful for this session on decolonizing language and building multi-lingual movement spaces. Before today, I was interested but didn't fully grasp the ways my personal history connect me to a desire for language justice. After the session I can see how my passion for bodily autonomy connects to the choice of what language to speak. Looking forward to learning more and finding more ways to bring multiple languages into my community spaces."
Tash K.
"I work in education and see how our patterns of 'teaching' are often laced with shame practices and we don't always recognise that to be the case. I realised through the prompts and reflections that whilst I recognise when I am experiencing shame, I don't feel it, it is not embodied. I don't process it somatically. which means I have not been fully healing those aspects!"

"I love the humanity involved in the courses and community engagement. myisha demonstrates this on a daily basis and shows us there are intentional things she does to liberate herself from her addiction to whiteness. It's so liberating to see someone educating others from a place of acceptance, imperfection, and vulnerability. I leave every conversation, course, or interaction feeling replenished and blessed because there's no shaming involved..."
Marisa A.
"While it is easy to understand, it also challenges and allows vulnerability in a non-biased group. I realized many ways in which I can uproot my white privilege and look at it from another point of view. The workshop contains aspects that dig deep into our way of thinking around addiction and how whiteness itself is constructed. I am very happy with what I have learned and the connection I have felt with the community. I also found new ways to cope and create action on this anti-racism journey. I am already wanting to learn more and to collaborate with this group again."
Rebecca G.
"From what I could tell from my conversations with other participants, this workshop met all of us where we were, and we all walked away with more tools to interrogate and break down the oppressive behaviors and structures that are part of our society and ourselves. That is no small feat."

"The Rescripting workshop was a powerful practice in being open to curiosity and compassion around my healing processes, the old stories I tell about my own wounds (and the new stories I can create and live into), and the challenges I still face with doing this work in vulnerable group spaces. Dr. Renee also expertly led the group into considering how our healing narratives intersect and inform our anti-Blackness."
Jenn K.
"Every time I attend one of myisha's workshops or events, I am left with a feeling of inspiration and deep introspection. She truly embodies the idea of giving and taking space and has a gift to support white bodies in doing this work. While it may not be easy for her, there is a sense of grace and acceptance of our unknowing and I genuinely feel she sees our humanness and comes from a place of love. myisha presents perspective, valuable insights, and meets us where we are at the same time. She has created a space of honesty, healing, and accountability, while conveying the understanding that this work is a process. It takes time to grow, unravel patterns of being, and create change. I am always honored and grateful to share time with her."
AmberJane A.
"I appreciate the warm welcome, energy of celebration for awareness, and the invitation to do our own work, learning/unlearning. These classes and information are so empowering, yes uncomfortable, but give me hope that each little piece will help me become better and better at being a human. I hope to hold community space for other in a way that is real and shares the power with/within approach. Thank you."

Reparations in Action: The Power of Black-Led Learning Spaces
In a world where Black bodies have been commodified and undervalued for centuries, working with Black leaders who guide us through the work of racial justice is more than a choice—it's an act of reparations. When you engage with Black-led spaces, you're not just supporting a cause; you're contributing to the healing and restoration of a community that has been systematically oppressed.
For white individuals, the benefits extend far beyond mere learning. Being taught by Black leaders transforms the process into one of rehumanization. Instead of the shame-based individualism and competition often found in white affinity groups, Black-led spaces invite you to reconnect with your humanity. Here, the focus shifts from performance to genuine connection, from guilt to growth, and from isolation to community.
This is more than education; it’s a radical shift toward healing—a path that not only changes the world but also transforms your heart.
